Taipan Transit.

Taipan Transit builds IP tunnel and routed address infrastructure for homelabs, small hosting platforms and infrastructure operators.

Taipan Transit is operated by Silicium Forge, run by Johan Garcia and registered in France (SIRET 981 862 246 00031, based in Belfort). The network — panel, API and tunnel infrastructure — runs on proprietary hardware operated directly by Silicium Forge, not resold from a third-party provider. That's a deliberate choice: owning the stack end to end is what makes it possible to keep GRE, IPsec and WireGuard tunnels, routed IPv4/IPv6, and DDoS mitigation priced and operated the way they are.

What we run

The product line is intentionally focused: tunnel connectivity (GRE, IPsec, WireGuard) for reaching Taipan Transit's network from a homelab or existing infrastructure, routed IPv4 addresses that stay with the customer regardless of upstream provider, and network-layer DDoS mitigation included on every tunnel. Netbait, the optional traffic-filtering layer, is built and operated in-house as well.

Who it's for

Two groups use Taipan Transit today: homelab operators who want a tunnel and a clean routed IP without renting a full server, and hosting platforms or resellers who need the network layer — IP addresses, protected transit, tunnel delivery — without having to build or peer for it themselves.

Being upfront about scale

Taipan Transit is a small, independently operated business, not a large carrier. If that matters for your use case — for example if you need a signed SLA, a dedicated account contact, or documentation for a compliance review — reach out to [email protected] before committing; we'd rather be clear about what's realistic upfront than have you find out after signing up.
